Genericmate.com is a pharmacy that specializes in generic pills. They say they care for your health and are a trusted source of online meds, but should you trust them? We don’t think so based on our findings, read on to find out why.

Domain Name Information
The privacy service is being used, something that might also suggest the owner of the store wants to scam their customers. However, often privacy services like the one being used by this store are included automatically when purchasing a domain name.
Business Contact Details
A pharmacy provides a small amount of information about where they are located. They give the partial address of Mumbai, India, without any further details. While this is better than the information provided by many scam pharmacy stores, it is less than ideal.
This means that we do not know where exactly the meds are dispensed from, and we cannot check if it is done reliably. This increases the risks, potentially meaning the pills are low-quality.
The pharmacy also claims to be one of the biggest worldwide online distributors of generic pills. However, bearing in mind this pharmacy has only been online for a matter of months, this claim seems ludicrous.
The store makes no mention of regulation other than to say the pills are approved by the FDA. They do not provide any evidence to back up this claim, however.
When we check with LegitScript, it’s clear that they didn’t like what they found when they looked into this pharmacy. They have given the store the approval status of rogue, meaning that they fail to meet the necessary requirements to be selling medicine online legally.
Pills on Sale
As the name of the pharmacy implies, the store specializes in selling generic medications. The biggest categories of products for sale on the site include:
■ Respiratory care
■ Life-saving drugs
■ Men’s health
The pharmacy does give some information about who the manufacturer is as well as the details about the drugs. Though as we have previously found, we don’t know where the meds are dispensed besides knowing it is Mumbai, India.
This missing information means there are a lot more risks for any customer choosing to purchase from this store. There is no way of knowing if the pills are dispensed by qualified pharmacists or not. This can mean that the wrong dosage is sent out to customers, something that is likely to go unnoticed by the patient themselves until it is too late.
We also cannot be completely sure that the pills they are selling our top-quality as they claim. The pills could be low-quality or counterfeit even though they are generic, and this again increases problems with the store.
The pharmacy does ask for medical history and current treatments, as well as allowing you to upload your valid prescription. However, all of this is optional, allowing anyone to purchase whatever they want from the store, whether it would go against medical advice or not.
Payment and Shipping
Shipping from this pharmacy costs $30.00 flat rate charge worldwide. Though if you spend at least $199, delivery is free. The stated delivery time is around 20 to 30 days, which isn’t too surprising since it’s being sent from India.
The pharmacy has a prominent link to their Trustpilot page throughout their website. However, there aren’t actually any GenericMate.com reviews on their Trustpilot page.
This further proves that their claim to be one of the biggest worldwide online distributors is a lie. They don’t have any feedback, let alone the hundred they claim.
Though it isn’t really surprising that they don’t have any customer feedback given how new the pharmacy is. However, this does mean if you choose to make a purchase with this pharmacy you are doing so blind, without information from previous customers’ experience of the store.
Although this pharmacy is doing a few things correctly, the problems far outweigh the positives. The store does not have any regulatory approval and we cannot be sure if the meds they are selling are actually good.
There are too many problems here to make them worth considering when there are so many other options. We give them 30% of trust.
